We are seeking a Automation Engineer to support a major transportation organization’s cybersecurity exposure management and vulnerability and patch remediation program. Build secure, reliable automation that connects vulnerability findings, remediation tickets, approvals and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Develop scripts and API integrations to reduce manual remediation
work.
- Automate workflow steps while maintaining approval gates, audit trails
and error handling.
- Monitor automation performance and troubleshoot failed integrations.
- Partner with technical teams to define repeatable remediation
processes.
Required qualifications
- Production experience with Python, PowerShell or equivalent automation
tooling.
- Experience integrating systems through REST APIs and structured data.
- Ability to implement logging, testing, access controls and exception
handling.
Preferred qualifications
- ServiceNow, vulnerability management platforms, CI/CD and
infrastructure automation.

Deliver accurate, well-documented work that helps the program reduce cyber exposure while maintaining operational reliability and clear accountability.
