24/7 Battle Officer overseeing a Global Cyber Operations Center supporting Army CONUS and OCONUS networks—managing incident response, cyber asset monitoring, and critical infrastructure availability with direct decision-making authority during off-hours.
What you'll do
- Provide 24/7 technical oversight of complex cyber infrastructure supporting Army CONUS and OCONUS networks
- Monitor, track, and resolve outages affecting managed assets while assessing customer impact and operational implications
- Make critical decisions on cyber operations, service delivery, and incident response; serve as senior decision-maker during off-hours
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to GCC senior leaders and higher headquarters on network status and incidents
- Monitor authorized service interruptions (ASI) for CONUS network and ensure compliance with service level targets
- Review Commander's Critical Information Reports (CCIR) for technical accuracy before distribution
- Identify network anomalies, exercise emergency response procedures, and maintain subject matter expertise on cyber policy and procedures
Mission
This role supports U.S. Army cyber operations across continental and overseas theaters through Agile Defense's Global Cyber Operations Center. The position directly contributes to Army network resilience and mission continuity by ensuring timely incident response and maintaining situational awareness across complex managed infrastructure.
