Infrastructure Engineer Columbia, MD 150 – 175K As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will serve as a hands-on, keyboard-level technical systems engineer supporting mission environments. You will perform analysis of alternatives and proof-of-concept efforts, evaluate solution performance and reporting capability, perform installation, integration, and configuration, and support Zero Trust infrastructure implementation. This role requires a technically strong engineer with experience across cloud and cybersecurity environments who is comfortable working in development and production systems. Required Skills: • 5–8 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, cloud, or systems engineering • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline • Experience supporting Zero Trust and NIST-aligned environments • Cloud engineering experience in AWS and/or Azure • Experience implementing and monitoring cloud security technologies and architectures • Experience configuring, deploying, and automating applications and database services in cloud environments Desired Skills (Not Required): • Experience maintaining and supporting security certificates, keys, and logs • Experience identifying and communicating cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities • Experience with Security Information and Event Monitoring (SIEM) tools such as Splunk • Experience with VectraAI • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nmap, Burp Suite) • Network analysis experience using tools such as Wireshark or tcpdump • Experience supporting cyber defense operations and incident response environments • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills in dynamic operational environments

- Monitor cloud security technologies and evaluate solution performance against reporting requirements
- Support integration of security tooling (e.g., SIEM, NDR) into cloud and hybrid environments
- Operate across both development and production systems, troubleshooting and hardening infrastructure as needed
