Lead systems engineering efforts to engineer, support, and optimize enterprise-grade services across large-scale federal environments. This role is for a senior SE professional with 19+ years of experience who can manage complex Windows, identity, VDI, and cloud infrastructure while maintaining SLA adherence and driving continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Engineer, support, and optimize enterprise-grade services across large-scale environments with focus on Windows, identity, VDI, and monitoring platforms
- Monitor service performance, availability, and reliability; ensure adherence to SLAs and drive root-cause analysis for optimization
- Troubleshoot complex issues spanning Windows, Active Directory/Entra, VDI, monitoring, and cloud platforms
- Support cloud transition initiatives including re-platforming and modernization of on-premises services to Azure
- Implement and maintain enterprise monitoring solutions (Splunk, SL1/VOSS) for proactive detection and remediation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of enterprise services
- Document engineering processes, configurations, and operational procedures to maintain institutional knowledge
