What you'll do
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents threatening systems, networks, or data
- Analyze security alerts, identify threats, and conduct forensic investigations to determine root cause
- Implement containment, eradication, and recovery measures to minimize breach impact
- Collaborate with security teams, IT personnel, and business stakeholders to strengthen controls and ensure compliance
- Author clear, robust incident reports and perform QA review of team member submissions
- Work directly with government staff to suggest and implement process improvements
- Perform threat analysis and post-incident reviews to reduce future cyberattack risk
