Industry Engagement Lead responsible for serving as the primary liaison between government and industry stakeholders to advance manufacturing innovation and R&D initiatives. This role combines strategic relationship-building with operational program support for a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned defense contractor.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, industry partners, trade associations, and stakeholders
- Identify emerging technology capabilities and investment opportunities to support technology transition initiatives
- Monitor industry trends, manufacturing challenges, and legislative developments impacting program priorities
- Conduct research and analysis to support strategic planning and executive decision-making
- Prepare executive briefings, reports, and presentations for senior leadership
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and industry engagement activities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines
