Build mission-critical analytics, dashboards, and data pipelines on Palantir MSS for J7 operational end-users. This role combines hands-on platform engineering with analytics to enable data-driven decision-making across the Pentagon.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain operator-facing dashboards, applications, and decision surfaces aligned to J7 mission workflows
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ontology, and access controls on MSS and the underlying Palantir stack
- Create compelling data visualizations and interactive tools that enable operators to explore data independently and drill into scenarios
- Design alerting and monitoring systems that proactively identify mission opportunities and risks
- Develop efficient data models and query optimization strategies for fast, reliable reporting and scalable performance
- Provide day-to-day operator support and contribute reusable platform content such as ontology patterns and dashboard templates
Mission
Supporting J7 (Joint Force Development) at the Pentagon, this role extends the FDE&T (Foundry Data Environment & Tools) model for DoD analytics. The position integrates advanced Palantir technologies to strengthen operational decision-making across Combatant Commands and DoD functional commands.
