Build mission-critical analytics platforms and operator-facing dashboards on the Palantir MSS stack to support Joint Staff J7 operational decision-making. This role combines data engineering, platform development, and hands-on mission support for a top-tier defense analytics organization.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain operator-facing dashboards, applications, and decision surfaces aligned to J7 mission workflows
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ontology, and access controls on MSS and the Palantir stack
- Integrate external data sources into well-modeled data foundations and surface AI/AIP workflow outputs for operational use
- Create data visualizations and interactive tools that enable operators to explore data independently and drill into scenarios
- Optimize data models, implement caching strategies, and ensure platform scalability for growing data volumes and user bases
- Provide day-to-day operator support and contribute reusable platform content including ontology patterns and dashboard templates
Mission
Agile Defense supports the Joint Staff J7 (Operations, Plans, and Policy directorate) at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado Springs. The role contributes to Force Development & Experimentation & Training (FDE&T) model validation and potential expansion across Combatant Commands and Service components.
