Build mission-critical analytics and applications for J7 leadership using Palantir MSS platforms. This role combines platform engineering and data analytics to create operator-facing dashboards and automated workflows that drive decision-making in a classified DoD environment.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain operator-facing dashboards, applications, and decision surfaces aligned to J7 mission workflows
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ontology, and access controls on MSS and the underlying Palantir stack
- Integrate external data sources into well-modeled data foundations and ensure AI/AIP workflows surface operationally useful model outputs
- Create data visualizations and interactive tools that enable operators to explore data independently and drill into scenarios
- Optimize platform performance through efficient data models, query optimization, caching strategies, and scalable solutions
- Support day-to-day operator needs and contribute reusable platform content including ontology patterns and dashboard templates
Mission
This position supports the Joint Staff J7 (Operational Plans and Joint Force Development) through the Mission Support Stack (MSS), delivering analytics and applications that enable data-driven decision-making across the directorate. The role contributes to validating and potentially extending the FDE&T model to additional Combatant Commands and Service components.
