Build mission-critical analytics and applications on the Palantir MSS platform supporting SOUTHCOM J7 operations. This role combines platform engineering, data pipeline development, and operator-focused dashboard design to enable data-driven decision-making at a major combatant command.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain operator-facing dashboards, applications, and decision surfaces aligned to J7 mission workflows
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ontology, and access controls on MSS and the underlying Palantir stack
- Integrate external data sources into a well-modeled data foundation and ensure AI/AIP workflows surface insights operationally
- Create compelling data visualizations and interactive tools that enable operators to explore data and scenarios independently
- Optimize data models, query performance, and implement caching strategies to ensure scalable, fast-performing MSS solutions
- Provide day-to-day operator support and contribute reusable platform content (ontology patterns, dashboard templates, integration recipes)
- Stay current with MSS/Palantir technologies and support validation of the FDE&T model for potential expansion to other commands
