Build mission-critical analytics and operational dashboards on the Palantir MSS platform for J7/DoD customers. This role combines hands-on platform engineering, data pipeline development, and operator-facing application design to enable data-driven decision-making in a SCIF environment.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain operator-facing dashboards, applications, and decision surfaces aligned to J7 mission workflows
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ontology, and access controls on MSS and the Palantir Foundry/Gotham/AIP stack
- Integrate external data sources into a well-modeled data foundation and ensure AI/AIP workflows surface outputs in operationally useful ways
- Create intuitive, self-service analytical capabilities and automated workflows that deliver timely insights to stakeholders
- Design data models, optimize queries, and implement caching strategies to ensure fast, reliable dashboard and application performance
- Contribute reusable platform content including ontology patterns, dashboard templates, and integration recipes to support continuous curriculum refresh
Mission
This position supports Joint Staff J7 (Directorate for Strategy, Plans, and Policy) mission operations through the Mission Support Services (MSS) program, leveraging the Palantir stack to deliver analytics and decision support tools to military operators and leadership across the DoD enterprise.
