Build mission-critical analytics and applications on the Palantir stack to support J7 operational workflows at Offutt AFB. This role combines platform engineering, data modeling, and dashboard development for a defense intelligence customer.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain operator-facing dashboards, applications, and decision surfaces aligned to J7 mission workflows
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ontology, and access controls on MSS and the underlying Palantir stack
- Integrate external data sources into a well-modeled data foundation and ensure AI/AIP workflows surface operationally useful outputs
- Create compelling data visualizations and interactive tools that enable operators to explore data independently and drill into scenarios
- Design alerting and monitoring systems that proactively identify mission opportunities and risks
- Develop efficient data models and query optimization strategies; implement caching and aggregation for dashboard performance
- Provide day-to-day operator support within the SCIF and contribute reusable platform content (ontology patterns, templates, integration recipes)
Mission
This position supports the Joint Staff J7 (Operational Plans and Joint Force Development) at U.S. Strategic Command (STRATCOM), based at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska. The role integrates with the Mission Support Stack (MSS) and Palantir ecosystem to deliver analytics capabilities across the directorate.
