Build mission-critical analytics platforms and applications on Palantir MSS for J7 operational end-users at Stuttgart, Germany. This role combines hands-on platform engineering with data-driven decision support for a major DoD command.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain operator-facing dashboards, applications, and decision surfaces aligned to J7 mission workflows
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ontology, and access controls on MSS and the Palantir stack
- Integrate external data sources into a well-modeled data foundation and ensure AI/AIP workflows are operationally useful
- Create data visualizations and interactive tools that allow operators to drill down into data and explore scenarios
- Develop efficient data models, query optimization, caching, and aggregation strategies for dashboard performance
- Provide day-to-day operator support and escalate complex platform issues to senior engineers
- Contribute reusable platform content including ontology patterns, dashboard templates, and integration recipes
Mission
This position supports the Joint Staff J7 (Directorate for Operational Plans and Joint Force Development) at Patch Barracks and Kelley Barracks in Stuttgart, Germany, delivering analytics and decision-support systems aligned to strategic command workflows. The role directly enables Combatant Command mission execution through the MSS platform and underlying Palantir stack.
