Build mission-critical analytics applications and data platforms on Palantir MSS for U.S. Central Command at MacDill AFB. This role combines hands-on platform engineering with operational analytics to deliver actionable dashboards and decision surfaces for military leaders.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain operator-facing dashboards, applications, and decision surfaces aligned to J7 mission workflows
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ontology, and access controls on MSS and the underlying Palantir stack
- Integrate external data sources and ensure AI/AIP workflows have well-modeled data foundations with operationally useful outputs
- Create data visualizations and interactive tools that enable operators to explore data independently and drill into complex insights
- Optimize data models, query performance, and implement caching strategies to ensure scalable, fast reporting for growing data volumes
- Contribute reusable platform content including ontology patterns, dashboard templates, and integration recipes to support continuous improvement
Mission
This position supports J7 (Operational Plans and Joint Force Development) at U.S. Central Command, enabling data-driven decision-making across the directorate. The role contributes to the FDE&T (Foundry Data Enterprise & Technology) model and may extend analytical capabilities to other Combatant Commands, Service components, and functional commands.
