Hands-on sales engineer role requiring deep technical fluency in modern AI systems and commercial reasoning to move fluidly between operators, program managers, and engineers.
What you'll do
- Embed with customer operational units and program offices to identify mission problems lacking repeatable solutions
- Conduct technical discovery conversations with operators and program managers; translate messy requirements into clear functional and non-functional specifications
- Design and build credible software demonstrations of AI capability tailored to specific customer mission contexts
- Defend technical demonstrations under questioning from operators, engineers, and decision-makers
- Author proposal content, briefs, and requirements documentation that hold up to technical scrutiny
- Travel to customer and field sites to validate capability in operational environment
- Serve as the technical voice bridging customer needs to platform capability, carrying translation from first conversation through fielded proof
Mission
Agile Labs (applied-AI division) builds and fields non-exquisite AI systems across cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped environments for DoD (all services), FBI, SOCOM, and mission-driven federal customers. The Embedded AI team operates at point of decision within customer operational units, identifying unsolved mission problems and prototyping solutions at speed using the platform stack.
