Lead Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement for AI, data, and national-defense development teams at Peterson Space Force Base. This Scrum Master III role combines servant leadership with technical acumen in a mission-critical environment delivering capabilities to the Department of Defense.
What you'll do
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to maintain Agile cadence
- Identify, track, and remove impediments blocking team delivery and progress
- Support Product Owners in backlog refinement, prioritization, and alignment across teams
- Track and communicate Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, sprint health) and risks/dependencies to stakeholders
- Foster collaboration and continuous improvement across technical and mission-partner teams
- Utilize Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams to enable workflow documentation and team coordination
- Provide foundational Agile coaching and demonstrate servant leadership within the team structure
