What you'll do
- Provide comprehensive resource management support for budget formulation, justification, execution, and financial planning across DoD programs
- Develop, coordinate, and submit DoD and federal budget documentation (exhibits, justifications, funding requests) in accordance with established timelines
- Monitor funding execution and financial performance to ensure compliance with fiscal laws, DoD regulations, and organizational guidance
- Prepare financial reports, budget exhibits, and executive briefing materials for program leadership decision-making
- Track and document financial transactions to maintain complete audit trails and support audit readiness initiatives
- Analyze budget execution, identify funding discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions to resolve financial issues
- Coordinate with government stakeholders and financial management personnel to resolve funding requirements and close financial gaps
