Design and develop scalable backend microservices and APIs supporting enterprise AI operations in a mission-focused defense technology environment. This role requires Secret clearance and 4+ years of Java/Spring Boot experience.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices and distributed systems supporting enterprise AI operations
- Implement API endpoints and business logic for wrapper services with emphasis on scalability and reliability
- Develop features for OpenFGA data model management and build event-driven architectures for secure data flow
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests, debug defects, and assist with technical documentation
- Participate in code reviews, team ceremonies, and support team onboarding with technical guidance
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and maintain cloud-native platform integrations
