This includes network security. • Lead root cause analysis for outages and performance issues. • Engaging teams with other expertise on relevant projects and systems. • Communicate issues clearly to teammates and leadership and collaborate on resolution. • Mentor less-senior engineers and technicians. Tech Knowledge / Skills • Deep understanding of layer 4 and below • Expertise and experience with an array of the hardware/software that are primarily associated with those layers: Route/switch, Firewalls, VPNs, SDN, and plenty more. Depth and breadth are both desired, but there is no expectation of ubiquity (or necessarily Ubiquiti) Requirements • 8+ years network engineering experience in secure/cleared environments • Active TS clearance; must be able to obtain TS/SCI • Professional certification required; Expert-level preferred (CCIE, JNCIE, etc) • Experience with progressive responsibilities that amount to “senior” • DoD 8140 compliance required • The likely salary range for this position is $140,000-$190,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, and contractual agreements and could fall outside of this range.

What you'll do

- Architect, engineer, and maintain multi-site, multi-vendor (Cisco-heavy) enterprise networks including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and SDN

- Lead root cause analysis investigations for network outages and performance degradation events

- Troubleshoot complex Layer 1–4 network issues across a dense, high-OPTEMPO environment

- Coordinate cross-functional engagement with teams owning adjacent systems and infrastructure

- Communicate network issues and resolution status clearly to both technical teammates and non-technical leadership

- Mentor junior network engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer

- Own network projects end-to-end, managing tasks and priorities with a high degree of self-direction across the full project lifecycle
