Design and oversee advanced security architectures protecting federal systems and SOC operations. This role is for experienced security architects who can build Zero Trust and cloud-native security solutions adopted across multiple agencies.
What you'll do
- Design enterprise security reference architectures for federal agencies with Zero Trust and cloud migration focus
- Lead secure system design, control integration, and NIST/FISMA compliance alignment across SOC environments
- Implement and oversee SIEM/SOAR platforms, endpoint security, and cloud security technologies
- Develop detection and response architectures for security operations and incident response teams
- Collaborate with SOC analysts, incident responders, and engineering teams to ensure architecture resilience and scalability
- Communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders including leadership
- Maintain alignment between security architecture and business/compliance requirements
