At SoloPulse Corp, a venture-backed dual-use radar startup in Peachtree Corners, GA, a Senior Software Engineer works at the intersection of cutting-edge sensing technology and real-world autonomy applications spanning both civilian and military domains. Day to day, this engineer leads the ideation, development, and integration of low-latency software systems that directly enable SoloPulse's radar sensing platform to perform at the highest standards of speed and reliability. You will collaborate closely with a seasoned team of engineers and advisors to architect and ship production-quality software in an environment where your decisions carry immediate technical and mission consequence. Strong proficiency in low-latency systems programming — with experience in languages such as C++ or Python and familiarity with signal processing pipelines, embedded systems, or real-time software architectures — is essential. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance, as the work supports both defense and commercial programs. This role is well suited for an engineer who thrives in a fast-moving startup, takes ownership from concept through deployment, and is motivated by fundamentally changing how machines perceive the world around them.
What you'll do
- Design and implement low-latency, high-reliability software systems for real-time radar signal acquisition and processing
- Integrate software components across hardware, firmware, and application layers to deliver end-to-end sensing solutions
- Profile and optimize system performance to meet strict timing and throughput requirements in operational environments
- Collaborate with RF and hardware engineers to translate radar system requirements into robust software architectures
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to validate software correctness and system-level performance
- Support field testing and iterative debugging of radar systems in both lab and operational deployment settings
- Contribute to technical roadmap discussions and help establish software engineering best practices within a growing startup team
