Senior hands-on Software Architect to own the technical direction and engineering execution of Workforce, an AI-enabled enterprise platform built on microservices and Azure Kubernetes Service, combining architecture leadership with direct coding contribution.
What you'll do
- Own platform architecture, microservice design, API contracts, data flows, and AI integration patterns (tool calling, context management, LLM orchestration)
- Lead technical execution for the engineering team including solution design, task breakdown, estimation, code review, and mentoring
- Partner with Product Manager to translate roadmap priorities into technical designs, milestones, and scoped engineering work
- Serve as Release Manager: coordinate multi-service releases, represent team in change control/CCB, own rollback decisions and production incident triage
- Contribute directly to codebase for features, critical-path work, integrations, and production fixes across full stack
- Design and implement secure enterprise integrations (identity, document workflows, collaboration tools, external APIs)
- Establish and uphold standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and operational readiness
