Senior Software Engineer supporting virtual malware containment and enrichment services modernization. This role requires 14 years of SWE experience, an active TS/SCI with Poly clearance, and hands-on expertise with virtualization and automation technologies.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain complex software systems for malware containment and enrichment including processing-intensive analytics and novel algorithm development
- Design, create, and configure monitoring tools in collaboration with engineering teams
- Work with virtual environments to create VMs, images, and configure networking; automate VM setup using Python scripts
- Review, test, and validate software components against design requirements and document test results
- Resolve software problem reports and provide input on hardware/software trade-offs and COTS/GOTS evaluation
- Utilize appropriate software development and design methodologies for the containment enclave environment
- Work both independently and as part of a team on requirements analysis and synthesis from system to component level
