Senior Software Engineer to develop and modernize virtual malware containment and enrichment capabilities on a dynamic NSA team. This role requires 14 years of SWE experience and an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
What you'll do
- Design and develop complex software systems for malware containment and enrichment in virtual environments
- Create and configure virtual machines, images, and networking infrastructure to support the enclave
- Write Python scripts to automate VM setup and reduce manual operational overhead
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to gather requirements and implement monitoring tools
- Review, test, and validate software components against design requirements and document results
- Resolve software defects and support system modernization initiatives
- Provide technical input on hardware/software trade-offs and COTS/GOTS integration decisions
Mission
ELEVI supports NSA's malware analysis and containment operations at Annapolis Junction, MD. The program focuses on building new virtual malware containment enclave capabilities and modernizing malware enrichment services for intelligence operations.
