Systems Engineer role architecting SIGINT/EW mission systems from concept through deployment, supporting advanced distributed processing environments in a defense contracting environment.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain SIGINT/EW system architectures and technical baselines
- Perform requirements analysis, allocation, decomposition, and traceability activities
- Define system interfaces and develop Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
- Conduct architecture trade studies and technical evaluations
- Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities using SysML and Cameo
- Develop architectures for distributed processing, edge computing, and real-time systems
- Lead system integration planning and cross-functional engineering coordination
- Develop verification and validation strategies and oversee requirements compliance
Mission
Gauge Engineering Services supports multiple Electronic Warfare development efforts as a subcontractor. The role directly contributes to national security through design of end-to-end capabilities integrating sensors, processing systems, networking infrastructure, and mission applications.
