Senior Systems Engineer with 14+ years of experience leading technical integrity and ISO/IEC 15288 compliance across the full systems lifecycle on complex government programs. This role bridges engineering discipline with government stakeholder management on high-stakes defense contracts.
What you'll do
- Maintain and produce technical documentation including architecture diagrams, SOPs, datasheets, and slide decks per customer requirements
- Manage ISO/IEC 15288 compliance across 25 process areas (technical, project, enterprise, and agreement domains)
- Execute sprint planning, retrospectives, and facilitate status reporting to government stakeholders
- Conduct stakeholder requirements definition, requirements analysis, architectural design, integration, and verification activities
- Support user acceptance testing, handle helpdesk access requests/bug reports, and coordinate with development leads on feature requests
- Interact with government technical overseers on systems engineering issues, conflicts, and technical problem resolution
- Maintain online documentation currency and archive obsolete content
Mission
This position supports classified government defense/intelligence programs requiring Poly-level clearance. The role interfaces directly with government overseers and senior executives on programs of significant scope and complexity, managing technical considerations across concept through retirement phases.
