Technical Solution Proposal Writer who translates complex solution architecture into compelling, compliant federal proposal narratives. This role bridges Solution Architects and Business Development to win defense and IC contracts.
What you'll do
- Develop written proposal content for technical approaches, management approaches, and other narrative sections requiring deep technical insight
- Partner with Solution Architects to understand bespoke solution designs and translate them into clear, customer-focused proposal narratives
- Interview and debrief Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across technical domains to gather and synthesize raw technical input into polished content
- Ensure all proposal content meets solicitation compliance requirements, aligns with win themes, and reflects understanding of customer mission
- Manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously across concurrent bids while meeting firm deadlines
- Participate in color team reviews (Blue, Pink, Red, Gold) and refine content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
- Apply industry best practices (Shipley, APMP) to produce structured, customer-focused proposal narratives
