Support and maintain a global DoD enterprise unified communications environment (VoIP, video conferencing, collaboration systems) at Tier I-III level, ensuring secure, compliant operations across classified and unclassified networks.
What you'll do
- Identify and resolve enterprise-level UC outages and issues; implement complex call routing, secure VoIP configurations per DISA STIGs, and perform upgrades/patches on Cisco CUCM, Expressway, Meeting Server, and related systems
- Conduct Change, Incident, and Service Request Management per client SOPs while maintaining positive relationships with DoD customer representatives, DISA, and stakeholders
- Execute monthly ECS Network Architecture Reviews to identify security vulnerabilities and incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to designated client POCs
- Provide network documentation for DoD 8510.01 accreditation, auditing, and operations support; analyze traffic statistics and configurations to generate utilization, capacity, optimization, and security reports
- Design and deploy QoS strategies across local and enterprise networks in coordination with DoD/intelligence agencies per DISA and HQMC policies
- Conduct onsite surveys, installation, and configuration of UC equipment and systems; perform preventive maintenance and lifecycle management per OEM and client SOPs
- Serve as highest-level technical support for enterprise UC environment, providing architecture advice and solutions to government partners
Mission
This role supports the Government Enterprise Network's Enterprise Collaboration System (ECS), serving as critical infrastructure for DoD voice and video communications. The position requires coordination with DISA, Defense Intelligence agencies, and other government partners to maintain secure converged IP communication services across the enterprise.
