Desktop Administrator supporting enterprise Windows systems for U.S. Army operations at Fort Huachuca. This role requires active Secret clearance and hands-on expertise in DoD-compliant desktop administration within a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
What you'll do
- Build, configure, and maintain Windows-based desktop systems in compliance with DoD and Army security standards
- Proactively administer enterprise desktop environments using MCM, VMware Mirage, and VMware Horizon toolsets
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and document all troubleshooting efforts for audit and compliance purposes
- Ensure desktop configuration compliance with DISA STIGs, IAVAs, and other DoD regulatory requirements
- Administer physical and virtual (VMware) desktop environments, including zero client configurations
- Participate in rotational on-call duties to provide after-hours enterprise support
- Manage Active Directory services and endpoint security (McAfee HBSS) for Army user populations
